Activity Database 2026

This is a major software release, which includes support for AutoCAD and Revit 2027, this release comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit.

AutoCAD/Revit 2027 are .NET 10 applications and use ADO.NET technology, this is installed with the Autodesk applications.

Provided in the installation packages are the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the required VC++ runtime and Crystal Reports.

You cannot run both versions on one machine, whilst ADB2026_x64 will operate with both 32-bit and 64-bit Crystal Reports, ADB2026_x86 will not run if the 64-bit Crystal Reports is installed.

Users of the ADB API to produce customisable output/input of data to ADB, who have upgraded to Office_64 will now be able to use them, please contact support at support@talonsolutions.co.uk for more information and assistance in converting 32bit to 64bit.

Function upgrades to Revit include: Audit Data change on C-Sheet, addition of Activities as a one-way parameter that can be added to the project.

Activity Database 2025

ADB 2025 is software update which includes support for AutoCAD and Revit 2026.

Crystal Reports Runtime version 13_0_37, which has improved report exporting.

AutoCAD/Revit 2025-2026 are .NET 8.0 applications and database connectivity updated to ADO.NET technology which has shown improved room loading times during testing.

** IMPORTANT **

Users in XML Licencing Mode must drop and replace the Microsoft SQL Server MASTER2000 database with the one supplied with ADB 2025.

Users in SQL Licencing Mode must use the supplied update script for the MASTER2000 to enable new functionality.

New for Revit 2022 – 2026:

  1. Save Room Numbers; uses new ADB Shared Parameter “ADBIdentifier” in combination with the existing ADB Shared Parameters for room linking.
  2. Updated Check Department; Standard and Enhanced modes, Standard now in a grid display format, Enhanced will do a full room equipment mismatch for all rooms for the department in a grid display format; both grids can also be exported to Excel.
  3. C-Sheet Filters; users can setup, save and recall custom schedules of RDS data to be included on the C Sheet.

Revit Library update to V7, contains additional redrawn families and ADBClass parameter populated with Component Classification, available for Revit 2022 – 2026.

Revit Project Templates for 2022 – 2026 updated for additional parameters required by new functions.

ADB 2024 – Software Release

Talon is pleased to announce the arrival of ADB 2024.

ADB 2024 is a software upgrade with support for AutoCAD 2025 and Revit 2025.

The ADB AutoCAD 2025 and Revit 2025 user interface is a .NET 8.0 application, the runtime version of which is installed by AutoCAD 2025 and Revit 2025.

We have produced ADB Revit Libraries for Revit 2018 – 2025, these are single file downloads and replaces the V5 version previously available.

ADB 2023 – Software release

Talon is pleased to announce the arrival of ADB 2023.

This software update will provide compatibility with AutoCAD and Revit 2024.

Additionally, ADB 2023 includes Revit Support for:

  1. Linked Models, automated ceilings (Revit 2022/2023/2024)
  2. User Defined C Sheet layouts.
  3. Room Loading/Saving by filters.

To upgrade to ADB 2023, users running ADB 2022 will need to remove the version and hotfixes/service packs and install ADB 2023.

Users running any earlier version will need to install VC++ runtime and Crystal Reports, which are supplied with the ADB 2023 download.

ADB 2022 – Software release

ADB 2022 now integrates with both AutoCAD and Revit 2023.

Enhanced Revit functionality:

  1. Arrange Tags (Horizontal/Vertical)
  2. Linked models now supports ceilings (Revit 2022/2023 only).
  3. User Definable C Sheet layouts.
  4. Option to save room data parameters only.
  5. Library loading update, supports subfolder and user  defined families and types.
  6. Ability to add user defined parameters to all families.

  1. ADB Table family, ADB_TAB.rfa (Revit 2018/19/20/21/22/23)
  2. Simple dataset to show ADB_TAB functionality.
  3. Components and Assemblies for the two rooms (Revit 2018/19/20/21/22/23).
