Revit 2024 – ADB Examples

This is an example of Rooms, Assembles, Components in Revit 2024 produced using the upcoming ADB 2023 release.

The package contains a model with five populated rooms with Assemblies (Nested Families) loaded as per the rooms example layouts, with C Sheets.

September 2022

ADB 2022 – Software release

ADB 2022 now integrates with both AutoCAD and Revit 2023.

Enhanced Revit functionality:

  1. Arrange Tags (Horizontal/Vertical)
  2. Linked models now supports ceilings (Revit 2022/2023 only).
  3. User Definable C Sheet layouts.
  4. Option to save room data parameters only.
  5. Library loading update, supports subfolder and user  defined families and types.
  6. Ability to add user defined parameters to all families.

Exemplar Content:

  1. ADB Table family, ADB_TAB.rfa (Revit 2018/19/20/21/22/23)
  2. Simple dataset to show ADB_TAB functionality.
  3. Components and Assemblies for the two rooms (Revit 2018/19/20/21/22/23).
  4. Linked model Structural and Equipment loading, with a generated C-Sheet (Revit 2018/19/20/21/22/23).

September 2021

ADB 2021 – Software Release

ADB 2021: features an updated graphical editor, together with support for the latest version of SAP Crystal Reports.

ADB 2021 now integrates with both Revit 2022 and AutoCAD 2022.

Enhanced Revit functionality now incorporates the following: Area Mismatch, Room Data Sheet preview and the option to save room height in addition to area.

Incorporated within ADB 2021 is the ability for ADB 2020 users to now use the latest version of SAP Crystal Reports seamlessly.

ADB 2021 includes an updated Revit Library.

October 2020

ADB 2020 – Software Release

ADB 2020 is a major software release with new features and functions:

  1. Component models, brands and suppliers added to ADB Explorer and Revit.
  2. Graphical Editor DXF export now includes walls/enclosures.
  3. Revit project specific family library.
  4. AutoCAD project specific C-Sheet output folders and templates.
  5. Extended Notes fields for Microsoft SQL Server based projects.
  6. Support for AutoCAD and Revit 2021.

This has been released as a two part download, upgrading users will need part one, new users will need both parts.

ADB Revit Library – Version 4

The Revit Library has been updated to Revit 2018 and all families now have the full ADB component parameters added to them.

This is a five part download.

ICU: Isolation Unit exemplar – Data + Model

Talon has created this brief data set in order to assist clients at this time.
Although every effort has been made to maintain the accuracy of guidance, please note that this example is for information only and all legislative data must be checked by the user prior to  its use in a live project.

** Please note that this data/Revit is purposely minimal for a concentrated ICU treatment in a contagious scenario with infection control flow of use. **

The ADB data set is compatible for ALL versions of ADB, including Data Sheet and layouts supporting AutoCAD users and can be downloaded from the Data categories download.

The Revit model is compatible for Revit 2016 and above and can be downloaded from the Revit categories download.

ADB Revit Library 2016 – update pack, Mar. 2020

This package covers a range of Components/Families (168), for Revit 2016 and above to update the existing standard library, these have been re-drawn in native Revit and populated with COBie parameters.

Please note that the COBie parameters have been intentionally left blank.

To use this supplementary package, unzip the download and overwrite the original ADB families.

This package covers a range of Components/Families (172), for Revit 2016 and above to update the existing standard library, these have been re-drawn in native Revit and populated with COBie parameters.

Please note that the COBie parameters have been intentionally left blank.

To use this supplementary package, unzip the download and overwrite the original ADB families.
